Lettera al NYIT

Lettera a  Henry C. “Hank” Foley, Ph.D.
Presidente del  “New York Institute of Technology”

Dear Sir Foley

I am writing you because I need information about Professor Paul Allen Koch.

My interest is due to the fact that this professor, along with Professor Gerry Leisman, has recently been convicted by an Italian court for plagiarizing a book. The article "Synaptic strengthening and continuum activity-wave growth in temporal sequencing during cognitive tasks", (February 2003 - International Journal of Neuroscience)  has in fact been recognized plagued by my book "Physics of mind" (the original title "Fisica della Mente").

The Italian court has ruled that compensation must be decided by a new trial. It is important for me, in order to calculate my compensation, to calculate the benefit obtained by Professor Koch.

So I need to know the annual salary of the Prof. Koch in 2001, 2002 and 2003.

Compliance with the privacy policy  you can refer me the average salaries of  teachers of your School of Engineering, New York Institute of Technology in those years with an equivalent position.
I believe that the fight against plagiarism in science is a priority for all scientific institutions.

I kindly ask you a quick answer and I have to inform you that I will  put this response in a book that I am writing about this story.

I am sending you the Italian ruling on the Koch case.

You can find more information on this issue in my site and on my blog.
